I think I should go out of my way to say how much I like this photo by my friend Farhad who is probably in Iran right now.
The photo is set in grayscale and has no colour. There isn’t much colour in the universe where this photo lives anyway. The frame is justly divided visually and psychologically into two parts. The antagonists of this story live in these two different parts and they have ways of shouting at you without the need to look at you. I am tempted to say more but I am sure you can continue this on your own when you see it.
